On Tour: Understanding Art & Research

Co-Corporeality

On Tour: Understanding Art & Research opening on May 14, 2021 in Shanghai in collabroation with Tongji University

On May 14, 2021, the Universities touring exhibition Understanding Art & Research - initiated by Gerald Bast, Alexander Damianisch and Barbara Putz-Plecko - will open in Shanghai in cooperation with our partner university Tongji in Shanghai. As in the past, we can again - now in this very special setting in China – present exemplary approaches of artistic research of the Angewandte internationally. Via this our specific offer of understanding and transformative ambition can be presented, reflected and experienced by means of specific projects from the area of artistic research!
If you would like to participate in the opening please send an email to zff@uni-ak.ac.at

Co-Corporeality

Co-Corporeality addresses responsive spaces in the era of biomediality with the aim to establish an interaction between a human and a living material. We are specifically interested in developing a responsive environment within an architectural space that interacts, learns, grows and decays in relation to human presence and behaviour.
